Steven Paul Jobs was an American business magnate, industrial designer, investor, and media proprietor. He was the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple Inc. Jobs had a difficult childhood being adopted but found his passion for technology and computers. He dropped out of college but co-founded Apple in 1976. After some early success with the Apple II, he was pushed out of the company by 1981. Jobs went on to found NeXT and later became CEO of Pixar before returning to Apple as CEO in 1996.
