INTRODUCTION
Combat max roach killing bait is the latest cockroach killer
in 2020(bestofmachinery.com). This is a synthetic pesticide
that could give us bad effect to our environment. To avoid
pollution natural pesticides is one of the good ways. In this
study we used garlic (allium sativum) and lemon juice (citrus x
limon) as an alternative cockroach killer at home. The smell of
the lemon(https://www.indiatoday) and allicin a property of
garlic can kill insects(https://prezi.com)

The prepared garlic was then using a blender. Grinded garlic


were filtered using a strainer in order to remove the solid
particles in other hand, lemon were chopped into half and was
squeezed to be extracted. To make sure, the researchers used
gauze pad to filter some remaining pulp of lemon. After that
the researchers measure the corresponding amount of each
extracted garlic and lemon.
 The hypothesis of this study is if the amount of garlic and
lemon extract increases, then the number of killed
cockroaches will increase.

 This study would be beneficial to the readers specifically


students and the teachers who are in need of this
alternative cockroaches killer for experimentation. This
study is significant since the garlic and lemon are
abundant in the Philippines, particularly in Zamboanga
City.
METHODOLOGY

Manipulated variable:
 The manipulated variable/independent variable in this
study is the amount of garlic and lemon.
 
Responding variable:
 The responding variable/dependent variables in this
study are the number of killed cockroach

Controlled variable:
 The controlled variable in this study is the number of
cockroach, size of the containers.

Manipulated values:
 By having different amounts of garlic and lemon extract.
EXPERIMENTAL SET-UP
