CAUSE AND
EFFECT
Cause – is why something happens.
Effect – is what happens after the cause.

 I water my plants.  They grow.


Cause and Effect
 The ice cream is in the sun.  It melts.
Where is cause? Where is effect?
 I go to school.
 I know everything.
Where is cause? Where is effect?
 I freeze water.
 Water becomes ice.
Where is cause? Where is effect?
 I heat water.
 Water becomes steam.
Where is cause? Where is effect?
 I fall down and hurt my leg.
 I ride a bicycle very fast.
