Conduct physico-chemical tests such as pH, COD, BOD, TSS, TDS, Oil & Grease, Chlorides, Sulphates, etc. Prepare and standardize chemical reagents and solutions required for testing. Maintain laboratory instruments such as pH meter, DO meter, spectrophotometer, COD digester, etc. Record, maintain, and update daily logbooks, test reports, and analysis sheets. Ensure test results comply with MPCB/CPCB discharge standards. Report any abnormal readings or deviations to the operation manager Laboratory In-charge or Plant head Support process optimization by providing analytical data to the operations team. Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices within the laboratory. Assist in calibration and maintenance of analytical instruments. Ensure proper storage and disposal of chemical reagents and waste samples.  --- Qualifications & Skills: Education: B.Sc. in Chemistry (M.Sc. Chemistry preferred but not mandatory). Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a wastewater treatment plant / CETP / ETP / chemical laboratory.Working in general shift Knowledge of: Water and wastewater analysis, standard testing procedures (APHA), MPCB norms, and environmental standards.
