Job Description: Project Engineer / Process Automation Engineer We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer / Process Automation Engineer to support engineering, application development, and integration activities across process automation and safety system projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Distributed Control Systems (DCS), process systems engineering, brownfield implementations, and third-party system communication. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute DCS engineering activities including configuration, logic development, graphics creation, and system testing. Perform application engineering for process automation solutions across various industrial process environments. Support design, implementation, and commissioning of process automation systems and safety systems (SIS). Work on brownfield projects, ensuring seamless integration and migration with minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Configure and validate third-party communication interfaces (Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP, etc.) to ensure reliable system connectivity. Analyze process requirements and translate them into functional and technical automation solutions. Collaborate with project managers, field engineers, and clients to ensure technical accuracy and timely deliverables. Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning, and system handover documentation. Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and project-specific engineering guidelines. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience in DCS engineering (Honeywell, Emerson, Yokogawa, ABB, Siemens, or equivalent). Solid knowledge of application engineering, control logic development, and process visualization. Understanding of process automation systems, industrial control processes, and safety instrumented systems. Experience working on brownfield scope and system upgrades/migrations. Expertise in third-party communication protocols and system integration. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional project environments. B. Tech is mandatory.
