The role will be responsible for driving financial operations including sales accounting, costing, MIS reporting, financial modelling, and SAP FICO support. The candidate will serve as the single point of contact for financial dashboards, board packs, automation initiatives, and management reporting, while also supporting audits, risk management, and process improvement. Key Responsibilities: Financial Accounting & Reporting Oversee day-to-day sales accounting and customer collections. Manage customer account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and yearly book closures in line with ICAI Accounting Standards. Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and board packs for internal and external stakeholders. Act as the central point of contact for all MIS-related deliverables. Costing & Financial Analysis Prepare and analyze product costing, variance analyses, and overhead reports. Support preparation of detailed financial models for business planning and project feasibility. Provide financial insights to aid strategic and operational decision-making. Audit, Compliance & Risk Management Support internal, statutory, and tax audits. Identify and assess financial risks related to plant operations and commercial activities. Manage insurance coverage for plant assets and ensure compliance with policy requirements. Coordinate with insurers for claims, renewals, and documentation. Project Finance & Oversight Provide financial oversight during the project phase of the upcoming 2.2 million tonne stainless steel plant. Support budgeting, cost monitoring, and milestone-based financial tracking. Systems, SAP & Automation Lead and support SAP FICO module implementation at the plant. Drive finance process automation to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with IT, operations, and finance teams to streamline workflows and improve systems.
