Job Description
You will work in a multi-disciplinary environment with other Mechanical, Electronics, and Electrical engineers to develop parts, assemblies, and complete products in the areas of Electronic/ Electrical housing, Telescopic Masts/ Tripods, high-precision Motion Systems (Rotators/ Positioners), and complex platform integration on vehicles and/or trailers. You will be responsible for planning and executing Mechanical designs using CAD/ CAM software, performing Simulations and Analysis using FEA/ CFD to validate and refine designs, Prototype development, DFMEA, and Testing. You will need to apply various Mechanical engineering disciplines including but not limited to Strength of Material, Heat transfer, and Machine design (Shafts and gears) to develop the aforementioned products. - Planning and executing mechanical designs using CAD and 3D Modeling. - Performing computer simulations and experiments to virtually test and refine the designs using FEA and CFD for design optimization and FOS (Factor of Safety). - Strong working capability with CAD and CAE simulation (Solid works, CATIA, Pro-Engineer, ANSYS etc). - Ability to deliver designs with datum structure, GD&T, and accurate tolerance stack-up analysis. - Sales: Meet internal milestones tracking towards sales realization and order book targets. - Record and evaluate testing data, altering designs as necessary to bring them to safety, performance, and efficiency standards. - Working knowledge of a large variety of materials (aluminium, steel etc.). - Experience with design for reliability and respective durability testing requirements. - Knowledge of stress analysis, gear mechanism, torque calculations, mechanical transmission system, and strength of the material. - Able to generate costout ideas, and value engineering proposals. - Must be capable of designing and calculating the power requirements for electric drives for BLDC/ DC/ Stepper motors. - Appreciation for Electronic packaging, Various IP (ingress Protection) standards, and EMI / EMC will be an added advantage. **Candidate Profile:** - B.Tech/B.E and M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed and recognized Institute. - A minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with knowledge of Mechanical engineering disciplines such as Strength of Material, heat transfer, Vibrations, and Machine design. - Attention to detail and critical analysis. - The ability to stay updated with the advancements in technology and engineering design trends. - Good knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances). - Familiar with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and different manufacturing processes including machining, arc & spot welding, PDC injection moulding etc will be an advantage.,

Your role at Siemens Energy as a Gas Turbine Combustion Mechanical Design Engineer will be challenging and future-oriented. You will be responsible for designing Gas Turbine Combustion and casing components to meet various design requirements. **Job Description** As an Engineering Judgment Engineer at Hilti, you will be responsible for preparing Engineering Judgment Drawings using AutoCAD software by referring to various UL and Intertek Standards. Your primary goal will be to provide the most technically appropriate and engineered solution for Firestop, ensuring no compromise on fire safety. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare accurate Engineering Judgment sketches with technical details based on relevant UL and Intertek Certificates. - Analyze Engineering Judgements to support the FPC Team and Engineering Specification Consultants. - Coordinate with Global Engineering Judgement teams for approval on unique cases requiring expert advice. - Prepare Engineering Judgment Documents for specific firestop applications exceeding standard criteria. - Utilize details from UL Certificates to create compliant Engineering Judgements. - Establish excellent working relationships with team members and counterparts. - Provide extensive trainings on Tested Systems to internal and external customers. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 1-5 years of experience in Firestop Applications or Specifications. - Engineering Degree in civil engineering, mechanical, or electrical. - Basic to Medium Competence in AutoCAD 2D. - Fluent in English. - Knowledge of Firestop NBC, IS, IBC, and NFPA Codes. - Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Revit. - Background in Structural, Piping, MEP, or Civil engineering. - Understanding of Firestop Application as per ASTM/UL/Intertek. - Understanding of MEP, Interiors, and Concrete Structures applications.
