Job Description
As a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in aerospace manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly processes, your role will involve authoring build plans, creating installation processes in CAPP/MES, and driving process improvements in alignment with aerospace industry standards. Your responsibilities will include: - Create installation plans in CAPP/MES and author assembly work instructions. - Lead the implementation of standard work practices in assembly operations for Boeing or similar aerospace products. - Review, audit, and ensure compliance of prevailing installation plans with defined quality standards. - Continuously drive improvements in assembly processes and workflows. - Apply critical thinking and innovative problem-solving in manufacturing operations. - Support the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies. - Assist in conceptual design development and maintenance of program architecture for builds. - Execute design for manufacturing (DFM) and producibility studies for new product introductions. - Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and process optimization. - Ensure compliance with company quality management system (QMS) requirements. - Collaborate with IPTs and internal stakeholders to develop products and enhance technical capabilities. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline. - 4-6 years of relevant work experience in the aerospace industry, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing engineering role. - Strong experience in Aerospace Manufacturing, Fabrication, and Assembly processes. - Proven expertise in authoring manufacturing plans and work instructions. - Proficiency in drawing interpretation and GD&T. - Knowledge of aerospace materials and associated processes. - Familiarity with CAPP/MES, IPDM, and related manufacturing execution systems. - Exposure to commercial aircraft platforms preferred. - CATIA/NX modeling experience is an added advantage. - Experience in lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.,

Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute process planning, methods planning, and technical instructions for AeroEngine components. - Perform CNC programming, CMM programming, and create stage drawings, stage modeling, and operation drawings using NX CAM, VERICUT, and post processor tools. - Manage concession, non-conformance, quality notifications, and MRB activities for Rolls-Royce Programs. - Ensure compliance with APQP, PPAP, FAIR, and zero-defect manufacturing standards. - Conduct supplier audits and enhance process capability through advanced manufacturing techniques. Technical Skills Required: - Proficiency in CNC Programming (G-code, toolpath optimization). - Knowledge of CMM Programming and inspection techniques. - Familiarity with NX CAM, VERICUT, Post Processor, Post Builder. - Experience in CAD/CAM (CATIA V5, SolidWorks). - Ability in blueprint interpretation, GD&T, and Tolerance Stack-up. - Understanding of APQP, PPAP, FAIR, CAPP. - Familiarity with Pratt & Whitney Gas Turbine design and manufacturing standards. - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Process Capability Analysis. - Exposure to Supplier Quality Audits and Zero-Defect initiatives.
