Job Description
You are a highly motivated and experienced Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Marketing Specialist with 6 to 8+ years of experience. Your role involves leading the execution, optimization, and reporting of digital marketing campaigns. Your deep understanding of SFMC capabilities, keen eye for detail, and passion for driving measurable marketing results will be crucial for success. As a Senior SFMC Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for translating marketing strategies into effective SFMC campaigns, ensuring flawless execution, and continuously optimizing performance to achieve business objectives. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Campaign Strategy & Execution:** - Lead the end-to-end execution of complex multi-channel marketing campaigns within SFMC, including email, SMS, push notifications, and potentially social media. - Design, build, test, and deploy customer journeys using Journey Builder, ensuring optimal personalization, timing, and channel orchestration. - Develop and manage email templates, landing pages (CloudPages), and dynamic content blocks within Content Builder. - Implement A/B testing and multivariate testing strategies for various campaign elements (subject lines, content, CTAs, send times) to optimize engagement and conversion. - **Audience Segmentation & Data Management:** - Work with marketing stakeholders to define target audiences and develop precise segmentation strategies using SFMC's data tools (e.g., Data Extensions, Contact Builder, filtered lists). - Utilize SQL queries within Automation Studio to create and refine audience segments, ensuring data accuracy and relevance for campaigns. - Ensure data quality and integrity within SFMC, adhering to data governance policies and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). - **Personalization & Automation:** - Implement advanced personalization techniques using AMPscript and SSJS to deliver highly relevant and dynamic content. - Set up and manage automated workflows and data processes within Automation Studio to streamline campaign operations and ensure timely delivery. - **Performance Monitoring & Optimization:** - Monitor campaign performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, deliverability, unsubscribes) and provide regular reporting to stakeholders. - Analyze campaign data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for continuous improvement. - Proactively recommend and implement optimization strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness, customer engagement, and ROI. - **Collaboration & Best Practices:** - Collaborate closely with marketing managers, content creators, designers, data analysts, and IT teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery. - Act as a subject matter expert for SFMC, providing guidance and training to internal teams on platform capabilities and best practices. - Stay current with SFMC new features, releases, and industry trends, recommending adoption where beneficial to enhance marketing efforts. - Ensure all campaigns comply with brand guidelines, legal requirements (CAN-SPAM, CASL), and deliverability best practices. - **Troubleshooting & Quality Assurance:** - Perform rigorous QA on all campaigns to ensure accuracy, functionality, rendering across devices, and correct personalization. - Troubleshoot and resolve campaign-related issues efficiently. **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. - 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and executing campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. - Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certifications: - Marketing Cloud Email Specialist (required) - Marketing Cloud Consultant (highly preferred or required within 6 months) - Expertise in SFMC modules: Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Contact Builder. - Strong proficiency in: - SQL for data segmentation and manipulation within SFMC. - AMPscript for advanced personalization and dynamic content. - HTML and CSS for email development and troubleshooting. - Proven ability to translate marketing objectives into technical SFMC solutions. - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. - Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance. - Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with SSJS for advanced SFMC functionalities. - Familiarity with SFMC API integrations and Marketing Cloud Connect. - Experience with other SFMC modules such as Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, or Social Studio. - Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud and their integration with SFMC. - Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) or Salesforce Data Cloud. - Familiarity with Google Analytics or other web analytics platforms. - Experience in an Agile marketing environment.
