You will be working as an Assistant Fashion Designer at Label Sunanta Madaan, a premier online destination for premium women's Indo-Western & Western wear in Gurgaon. Your role will involve designing, merchandising, embroidery, printing, fitting, quality checking, and collaborating with the production team to create unique pieces that align with the brand's aesthetic. Key Responsibilities: - Identify themes and present mood boards based on research and forecasting. - Plan and prepare the internal production calendar. - Merchandise according to the collection requirements. - Retrieve embroidery designs and printing patterns. - Create design presentations. - Maintain consistency between forecast presentation and the collection in terms of colors, themes, and details. - Prepare production reports. - Manage merchandising, procure materials, and vendor relationships: a) Source new fabrics, trims, and accessories as per approved designs. b) Prepare purchase orders and outsource production to vendors while negotiating costs. c) Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods. d) Ensure product quality.
