Job Description
As a Sales Executive for a luxury children's apparel brand, you will be responsible for providing a personalized and luxurious shopping experience to customers at the first store in Mumbai. The brand focuses on reimagining French fashion for children, offering a range of clothes, accessories, shoes, and nursery items that capture the magic and whimsy of childhood. Ranked among the top 1% Shopify stores in India, you have grown from a 100 sq. ft. garage to a 150+ member team in just 4 years by staying true to your mission of simplicity and quality. **Key Responsibilities:** - Take ownership of the entire product lifecycle, focusing on production planning and vendor coordination. - Create detailed Tech Packs including specifications, measurements, trims, construction details, and BOMs. - Prepare and manage cost sheets for all styles while ensuring margin targets are met. - Build and monitor Time & Action (T&A) calendars to ensure timely deliveries across all stakeholders. - Coordinate with vendors for development sampling, cost negotiations, and production timelines. - Maintain accurate records of fit approvals, lab dips, strike-offs, and sample tracking. - Collaborate with the quality team to ensure production follows all quality benchmarks. - Conduct vendor evaluations and audits to maintain compliance and standards. - Track production status, troubleshoot delays, and resolve any issues related to production or quality. - Ensure internal systems (like WFX, Apparel Magic, etc.) are always updated with the latest style, cost, and production details. - Support seasonal planning and capacity forecasting with the production and design teams. **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, or Textile Engineering. - Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, and processing. - Hands-on experience in production planning, merchandising, and vendor management. - Advanced skills in Excel and experience with PLM tools (like WFX/Apparel Magic). - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple vendors, and deliver results within tight deadlines. - Experience in sample development and offshore production, preferably in a buying house or export house setup.
