
As a CAD Designer specializing in Embroidery (Kha-Kha Development) in Noida, Sector -2, you will be responsible for creating intricate and high-level embroidery designs for bridal and couture collections. With a minimum of 2 years of experience in luxury fashion/textile CAD or embroidery design, you are expected to showcase a keen eye for detail, precision, and a deep understanding of surface development for high-fashion garments.
Your primary role will involve developing production-ready embroidery kha-kha designs in CAD based on design concepts. You will need to interpret moodboards, sketches, and designer briefs accurately into technically sound artwork. Collaboration with the design team, masterjis, and karigars will be essential to effectively translate digital designs into hand/machine embroidery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create intricate and production-ready embroidery kha-kha designs in CAD.
- Translate design concepts into technically sound artwork.
- Ensure alignment of embroidery placements, repeats, and scaling with garment construction.
- Collaborate with various teams to bring digital designs to life through hand/machine embroidery.
- Develop mock-ups, detailing charts, and material references for sampling and production.
- Maintain an organized archive of all CAD files, development sheets, and approvals.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant software.
- Solid understanding of Indian embroidery techniques such as zardozi, resham, sequins, aari, etc.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in bridal/couture embroidery design.
- Strong artistic and technical sense for textures, scale, and garment flow.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
