Your responsibilities will include: - Developing seasonal collections for Kids Wear (Boys, Girls, Infant categories) in line with brand standards, customer mood boards, and market trends. - Creating design concepts, sketches, CADs, and tech packs for sampling. - Conducting trend research to forecast colors, fabrics, trims, prints, and silhouettes relevant to kidswear. - Collaborating with merchandising, sampling, pattern, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and timely sample execution. - Selecting appropriate fabrics, trims, washes, and embellishments based on costing and buyer requirements. - Providing detailed guidance to the sampling team to ensure perfect sample development for buyer presentations. - Reviewing fit samples, making corrections, and ensuring the final product meets brand specifications. - Collaborating with print develop/embroidery designers to develop artworks suitable for kids garments. - Participating in buyer meetings, understanding buyer preferences, and translating ideas into commercial designs. - Monitoring market trends, competitor products, and innovations in the kidswear category. - Ensuring all designs meet buyer technical standards and compliance requirements for kidswear safety. - Maintaining an organized design archive, mood boards, and seasonal range sheets. Your skills and competencies should include: - Strong experience in Kids Garments Design. - Excellent knowledge of international fashion trends and export market requirements. - Strong sense of color, fabric knowledge, and garment construction. - Ability to create commercially viable designs for global brands. - Strong communication skills for interacting with buyers and internal teams. - Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. To be eligible for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design / Apparel Design from a reputed institution. - 8-12 years of experience in kidswear design with a garment manufacturing export house. - Prior experience designing for international brands like Zara, Mango, H&M, C&A, Primark, Carters, or similar. - Experience working closely with sampling and merchandising teams. This full-time position is based at FashionC Overseas Exports with a salary of up to 1 lakh.,
