Job Description
As a Partnership Manager, your role involves identifying, evaluating, and pursuing strategic partnership opportunities that align with the business goals set forth. You will be responsible for leading partner relationships and driving partner engagements across PSP Banks, NPCI, and ecosystem partners. Additionally, you will drive launches, go-to-market strategies, business growth initiatives, compliance activities, transformation projects, and cost optimization efforts for the merchant acquiring business. Your role will also entail resolving critical escalations, regulatory issues, and leading cross-functional teams and partner collaborations. Furthermore, you will play a pivotal role in driving contractual and legal alignment and agreement closure for various work streams. Thought leadership on industry trends and ecosystem dynamics with cross-functional partners will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Your focus will be on driving business growth and cost optimization for the acquiring work streams and beyond. Key Responsibilities: - Lead partner relationships and drive partner engagements with PSP Banks, NPCI, and ecosystem partners - Drive launches, go-to-market strategies, business growth, compliance, transformation, and cost optimization initiatives for the merchant acquiring business - Resolve critical escalations, regulatory issues, and lead cross-functional teams and partner collaborations - Drive contractual and legal alignment and agreement closure for various work streams - Drive thought leadership on industry trends and ecosystem dynamics with cross-functional partners - Drive business growth and cost optimization for acquiring work streams and more Qualifications Required: - Master's degree or equivalent practical experience - Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management - Experience in leading cross-functional teams on partner programs for launching new product features, compliance adherence, reliability improvements, etc. - Expertise in managing partnerships, negotiating deals, and contracts with banks, fintech companies, and regulators - Proficiency in leading operations and cross-functional teams on escalations and formulating SOPs - Experience in driving results within an organization - Excellent partnership, communication, and problem-solving skills At Applause, we take pride in fostering an inspiring and engaging employee culture that is reflected in high retention rates and satisfaction among our talented team, known as Applause Nation.
