As an ideal candidate for the role, you will be responsible for the following key roles and responsibilities: - Collaborating with internal team members to plan the arrangement of Import shipments from China, Thailand, and other countries. - Coordinating with external vendors such as Freight Forwarders and shipping lines for shipment arrangements. - Handling Import documentation, checklist approval, Bill of Entry filing, and ensuring timely and effective coordination with CHAs for custom clearance. - Coordinating with transporters to strategize deliveries of custom cleared shipments to various warehouses at a PAN India level. - Possessing knowledge of E-waybill creation. - Collaborating with the internal warehouse team to discuss and execute the delivery of Import shipments. - Working closely with the Internal Buying team to escalate sensitive matters related to shipment delays or issues with the shipper promptly. - Timely escalation of issues pertaining to custom clearance, delivery-related problems, etc. - Updating MIS reports fortnightly. - Understanding duty benefits under various free trade agreements, CFS movements, DPD movement, FTWZ movements, and duty scrip utilization. - Preferring knowledge of certifications like AEO, BIS, PNQ, PSC, EPR, CDSCO, WPC-ETA, duty scrips-RoDTEP, RoSCTL, SEIS, etc. - Leading a team of 5 people in addition to independent KRA.
