As a Full-Stack Software Engineer in the Product Support team, your role will involve developing, enhancing, and maintaining full-stack applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework. You will be responsible for building and consuming RESTful APIs, writing efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions. Additionally, you will design and improve front-end components using Angular and TypeScript, participate in Agile ceremonies, and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders globally. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, enhance, and maintain full-stack applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework. - Build, consume, and maintain RESTful APIs. - Write efficient and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions; review execution plans. - Design and improve front-end components using Angular and TypeScript. - Participate in Agile ceremonies like daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. - Document progress and updates through Azure DevOps, Teams, and email. - Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders in a global work environment. Job Description
As the Senior Manager ERP Assurance at Novartis, you will lead a global team of IT assurance experts responsible for designing and evaluating the efficiency of IT Application Controls across the company's IT landscape. This key role involves interacting with senior stakeholders internally and externally. Key Responsibilities: - Co-design, improve, and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Novartis IT controls landscape, serving as an experienced ERP assurance professional and advisor. - Collaborate with the Corporate Financial Controls and Compliance Team to review critical IT Application Controls related to financial reporting. - Provide assurance in ERP systems such as SAP, identifying opportunities for process and IT controls enhancement and overseeing implementation. - Test IT application controls including Reports, Interfaces, Fully Automated Controls, ensuring compliance with SOX and reliability. - Conduct risk assessments of processes considering risks from the IT environment, application systems, data warehouses, and IT infrastructure. - Work with IT Application Owners and Business Process Owners to identify SOX relevant IT Applications and Infrastructures, assessing internal controls" adequacy during the implementation of new ERP systems or technology solutions. - Advise on the structure of internal controls by understanding end-to-end processes, IT environment, and data context to establish the right mix of preventative and detective controls based on automation and data analytics. - Lead a team of IT assurance experts in multiple locations, providing guidance, coaching, and development for junior team members. Collaborate with External Auditors and internal stakeholders at various levels. Qualifications Required: - University degree in economics, business informatics, or computer science, with a background in IT Audit or Internal Controls, preferably from a Big 4 firm, and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. - Extensive experience auditing ERP systems with a focus on application controls, particularly in SAP systems, IT environments, and automated business process controls. - Experience in managing IT assurance or audit engagements and teams, with a solid understanding of external audit approaches, concepts, and methodologies. Desirable Qualifications: - Ability to lead a team across multiple locations and time zones. - Strong skills in handling senior stakeholders, effective collaboration with technical and business contacts, and a result-oriented approach to work. - Entrepreneurial and structured mindset with excellent communication, presentation, and business writing skills in English. Experience in the pharma industry and shared services is advantageous.
