Role Overview:
The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst position at our company is an intermediate level role where you will be responsible for participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, along with basic knowledge of other technical areas, to identify and define necessary system enhancements. This includes using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code.
- Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, recommend programming solutions, and provide installation and support for customer exposure systems.
- Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications and analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues. Conduct testing and debugging as needed.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts, identifying problems, analyzing information, and making evaluative judgments to recommend and implement solutions.
- Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience, guided by precedents. Operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independence of judgment and autonomy.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and/or other team members. Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
- Strong experience in Abinitio development
- Experience in database Oracle/SQL
- Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and adapt to unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Education:
- Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience

In this role, you will be a part of the Support organization focusing on delivering post-sales support and solutions to Oracle cloud and on-premises customers. Your main responsibility will be to serve as an advocate for customer needs by resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries through phone and electronic channels. Additionally, you will address technical questions related to the use of and troubleshooting for Electronic Support Services. As a primary point of contact for customers, you will facilitate customer relationships with Support and provide guidance to internal Oracle employees on various customer situations and escalated issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Field Engineers and Datacenter Technicians for on-site installations, proactive services, and account management in a designated territory.
- Ensure on-site service levels are met 24x7 to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Serve as the primary contact for customers and partners to support customer relationships and provide assistance to XLOB on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.
Qualifications Required:
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Experience in leading a team and managing on-site service delivery.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions effectively.
- Prior experience in customer support and relationship management is preferred.
