Job Description
As a potential candidate, you will be expected to fulfill the following responsibilities: - Become fully familiar with the Contract Scope of Work, specifications, schedule, and all inter-discipline requirements, including identifying concerns early and addressing them promptly. - Study and understand the E&I design scope of work, being conversant with Company and Client procedures, standards, and applicable international codes and standards. - Identify changes to scope and raise change notification in the Change Management System promptly, providing necessary supporting documentation and estimates. Support Variation Orders similarly. - Interface with all disciplines to develop clash-free designs and obtain input for discipline designs and drawings from other disciplines. - Liaise with other discipline support groups to ensure clearly defined interfaces, deliverables, and schedules are met, documenting substantive communications. - Assist Discipline Lead in preparing estimates for proposals and job scope changes, including execution statements, work schedules, and man-hour requirements. - Set up and maintain the Discipline Master design drawing and document files, including final archiving. - Prepare and review Discipline deliverables such as 3D model, detailed design drawings, as-built drawings, MTO extraction, and Preparation. - Support the import and export of reference models to PDMS / E3D from vendor inputs. - Review vendor drawings deliverables in line with project requirements. - Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge in its discipline according to applicable codes and standards. - Knowledge of AVEVA Electrical and AVEVA Instrumentation will be an added advantage. Qualifications Required: - Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Diploma in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering or Diploma in Instrumentation and Control Engineering. Experience: - 10+ years of Industry experience. - Prior work experience in the design of Oil & Gas production facilities, skid-based design deliverables, site engineering support for construction, precommissioning, and commissioning activities. Expertise: - Prepare / Review Electrical Design Deliverables such as 3D model E&I scopes, one-line diagrams, schematics, interconnection and wiring diagrams, block diagrams, area classification drawings, conduit and cable schedules, power layout drawings, cable tray layouts, earthing and lightning protection layout drawings, lighting layout drawings, electrical cable tray drawings, electrical equipment layouts, E&I support drawings, cable blocks diagram, cable & Junction Box schedule, instrument hook up (pneumatic and process) diagram, installation standards, loop diagram, fire & gas equipment layout, PA system, MCT arrangements, etc. - Thorough understanding of Interdisciplinary interfaces.,
