Job Description
As a member of the maintenance team at Charter Manufacturing, your role is crucial in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of trucks and trailers. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and fostering continuous improvement and teamwork within the department. Key Responsibilities: - Perform maintenance and repair on diesel and gas trucks/trailers, including brakes, lights, engines, suspension, etc. - Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using tools and manuals. - Conduct inspections to ensure DOT compliance. - Maintain accurate records and manage parts inventory. - Assist with equipment repairs and facility maintenance. - Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
