This includes setting up firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.    Vulnerability management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security reviews to identify and address weaknesses in the system and code.    Monitoring and maintenance: Monitor security systems, analyze logs and network traffic for suspicious activity, and maintain the security infrastructure to ensure it remains effective against threats.    Incident response: Investigate security breaches and incidents, respond to them to minimize damage, and report findings to management.    Policy and compliance: Ensure the organization's security posture aligns with its policies, best practices, and regulatory requirements.    Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as development and DevOps, to integrate security into all stages of the system and software development lifecycle.    Documentation and reporting: Generate reports on security analysis and findings, and maintain documentation for security policies and procedures

Teaching & Academic Duties Deliver lectures and practical sessions on cybersecurity topics (e.g., network security, ethical hacking, cryptography, digital forensics, cyber law). Develop curriculum, lesson plans, laboratory exercises, and assessment materials. Guide students in projects, internships, and hands-on cybersecurity activities. Conduct workshops, seminars, and training programs on emerging cyber threats and tools. Research & Publications Conduct research in areas such as malware analysis, AI in cybersecurity, cloud security, cyber threat intelligence, blockchain security, etc. Publish research papers in journals, conferences, and industry forums. Apply for research grants and lead cybersecurity research initiatives.
