Your main responsibilities will include: - Configuring and maintaining database servers and processes, monitoring system health and performance. - Applying data modeling techniques to support development efforts. - Independently analyzing and resolving issues in real-time. - Refining and automating processes, tracking issues, and documenting changes. - Assisting developers with query tuning and schema refinement. - Providing 24x7 support for critical production systems. - Performing scheduled maintenance and supporting release deployment activities after hours. - Sharing domain and technical expertise, providing mentorship to team members. Qualifications required for this role include: - 3 years of MS SQL Server administration experience. - Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization, backups, restores, and recovery models. - Knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery options for SQL Server. - Experience with Windows server and Active Directory. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently, in a rapidly changing environment, and to multitask effectively.
