Your responsibilities as a Tool & Die Maker involve: - Manufacturing, assembling, and maintaining aluminium dies and press tools - Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications - Operating conventional and CNC machines to create die components - Performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and tool adjustments - Collaborating with teams to ensure tooling meets requirements - Maintaining records and upholding safety standards Qualifications and Skills required for this position include an ITI/Diploma in Tool & Die Making or equivalent technical qualification. A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in press tool die making, specifically for aluminium dies and moulds is necessary. Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges is essential. Hands-on experience with conventional and VMC/CNC machines, strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively are important qualifications. Good communication, time management skills, and a preference for candidates with knowledge of die manufacturing or aluminium forming processes, experience in high-volume manufacturing environments, exposure to ISO/TS quality standards, and lean manufacturing practices.
