At OpenTable I lead the Guest Center Integration Team. We create services and APIs to integrate with internal and external partners. Recently I have been focusing on building out our Java services and tools (along with some Node.js). I put a lot of thought into the microservice architectural design, building reliable and autonomous services, monitoring, metrics, fault-tolerance, and scalability. I've introduced a number of Netflix OSS components to our company as well as Reactive Extensions for JavaScript and Spring Boot.
