Torie Bosch is the editor of First Opinion, which is STAT’s home for op-eds, personal essays, and other first-person pieces. She also hosts the “First Opinion Podcast” and writes the First Opinion newsletter.
Previously, Torie was the editor of Future Tense, a partnership of Slate magazine, Arizona State University, and New America focused on technology, policy, and society. She is also the editor of “You Are Not Expected to Understand This: How 26 Lines of Code Changed the World” (Princeton University Press) and runs workshops for experts on writing for the public.
