My name is Philipp and I've been running watched.li for nearly five years now. Watched.li is my personal passion project which means that I put a lot of time and effort into continuosly improving the site for the community. I pay all running costs myself and do not generate any income from the project.
 
For those of you, who found this page without knowing watched.li: It's an easy to use website for everyone who watches more tv shows than you can memorize. You can manage your shows and track which episodes you have seen. Also you get a 
<a href="https://watched.li/profile/pwaldhauer" rel="nofollow">sharable public profile</a> and some statistics. 
 
Since I get positive feedback every couple of days I thought it might be possible that some of you might be willing to pay a small amount of money monthly to help me pay the bills and invest in the future development of watched.li
 You may ask why I chose Patreon as a platform to support watched.li -- it's because I want a simple monthly model, so Kickstarter or Indigogo would be off the table. Also I currently cannot invest the time needed to implement the concept of "pro accounts" in watched.li. Patreon seems to be a nice and comfortable place for a monthly support model. If you want to learn more about Patreon please <a href="https://patreon.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/categories/200359925-Patrons" rel="nofollow">consult their FAQ</a>. In short: If you select a reward tier you will be billed monthly. You can cancel your patronage at any time. 
 
Unfortunately I currently cannot provide cool perks for my future patrons -- but you will get access to a list with features planned and the ability to cast your vote on the priority.
 
 
Currently the biggest features on my list are:

		My goal with watched.li always has been to provide a simple and clean interface to manage your shows, so I won't implement every small feature, but I'll consider all of your suggestions.

Da ich alle paar Tage positive Reaktionen bekomme, dachte ich, dass einige von euch vielleicht bereit wären, watched.li zu unterstützen, indem sie sich mit einem kleinen Beitrag an den monatlichen Kosten und den Kosten einer zukünftigen Weiterentwicklung beteiligen. Warum ich mich für Patreon entschieden habe? Ich wollte ein monatliches Unterstützungsmodell. Kickstarter oder Indigogo wären dafür also nicht geeignet. Da ich leider keine Zeit habe “Pro Accounts” in watched.li einzubauen und die gesamte Abrechnung selber zu verwalten, entschied ich mich also für diese Platform hier. Kurzgefasst: Wenn du einen Reward-Level auswählst, wird der Betrag monatlich abgebucht. Du kannst das Abo jederzeit kündigen. Leider kann ich aktuell keine tollen Zusatzfunktionen für Unterstützer anbieten, aber ihr bekommt immerhin einen Link zu einer Feature-Liste, an der ihr euch dann beteiligen und die Priorität mitbestimmen könnt. Aktuell sind die größten Punkte auf der Liste: <ul><li>die iPhone-App</li><li>ein neues Design/Interface für die Webseite</li><li>eine bessere Suche und Vorschläge</li><li>eine Liste mit allen Serien, zum stöbern</li><li>Zeitzonensupport</li></ul> Mein Ziel mit watched.li war es immer ein möglichst einfaches Produkt zu schaffen, daher werde ich nicht jeden winzigen Feature-Wunsch umsetzen, aber auf jeden Fall werde ich mir alles anschauen.
