Every day, the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA) takes care of the safety of passengers of nearly 3,000 aircraft traveling over Poland. The airspace we supervise and control is more than 334,000 square kilometers and is one of the largest in Europe. Every day there are nearly half a million passengers on board planes flying over Poland. The Polish Air Navigation Services Agency is the only institution in Poland that trains and employs civilian air traffic controllers.
The Polish Air Navigation Services Agency plays a fundamental role in shaping the future of the European aviation industry. Through active, substantive membership in major aviation international organizations such as ICAO, EASA, CANSO and EUROCONTROL, as well as cooperation with the European Commission, Network Manager, SESAR Deployment Manager, SESAR Joint Undertaking, and membership in strategic air traffic management alliances (iTEC, A6 Alliance), we are implementing key processes of ATM market modernization.
