My story at Pegatron began in 2018 when I started as an agency employee as an operator. It has now been 6 years, but I remember my first day like it was yesterday. A short time after I joined, organizational changes were made and I was given the opportunity to work in the quality department. Today I am extremely grateful for this offer, because until then I would never have thought I could do the job in the quality department. However, my supervisor was convinced that there was something more to me and gave me the opportunity to learn new work processes and thus gain a higher position as a quality inspector. My efforts were noticed by my colleagues and when a position became available, I was their first choice.

I joined PEGATRON in May 2022 as a process engineer. Although I have only been with the company for a short time, I feel like I am part of our great team. Prior to that, I gained valuable experience in various industries such as automotive and sound systems where I was involved in designing hall layouts and reviewing speakers.

I have been employed by PEGATRON since November 2021. I started as a laptop repair technician through the MANUVIA agency. From the beginning I was surprised how great the atmosphere is here - my colleagues are always willing to help and I can always rely on them.
Over time, I switched from working on laptops to repairing phones, where I stayed in the same technical position but started working on a different product. This transition was a natural one for me and I found myself in this repair business because phone repairs are faster and it suits me better this way.

They are always ready to help me and give me valuable advice. Thanks to them I have learned how to better navigate the industry and how to solve problems efficiently. This support has given me the confidence that I can achieve my goals. But it's not just the work - the friendships I have found here also give me great joy. In the future, I would like to work in the engineering department. Currently, I am primarily involved in new project implementation, process control and creating SOPs (standard operating procedures) for assembly or testing. I also emphasize workplace ergonomics to ensure that material is always available in the most efficient manner. Most often, I work with project managers to meet customer requirements and improve processes. I most enjoy "offline projects" where I have open opportunities for implementation and innovation. Every day is different, I am constantly developing and working on different tasks, which gives me the opportunity to discover new skills and abilities.
We have a great team in our company that works as one. We always help each other and solve problems together. I have a lot of respect for my supervisor, who is a professional with an excellent overview of everything going on in the company. Moreover, he is always helpful and we can agree on everything quickly.

Over time, our line expanded and there was more work, which meant new challenges. With the change of lines came a change of team leader, which made it all work even better. I applied for different positions myself, learned new things and gradually moved up to more qualified positions.
On the recommendation of a colleague, I signed up for technician training to learn complex product repair. The training used to be three weeks long and I made mistakes at the beginning, but gradually I got better and now I feel really strong in my job and maintain great weekly results. The technician position has really suited me and for now I'm trying to get better at it.
I take advantage of all the benefits the company offers. The quarterly bonuses are great, and I really enjoy the annual pay increases. As for the lunches, they are excellent in the cafeteria, I really enjoy the large selection.

In the meantime, an opportunity came up to travel through the branch in the US to Indiana, and I gladly accepted. I travelled with my colleagues, getting to know the new environment. In the summer we managed to see Niagara Falls and New York, and in the winter I saw NHL games, NBA games and even wrestling. Having the opportunity to work abroad and have that experience is unforgettable and I would love to travel again.

- Performing analysis of our laptops and phones, especially identifying and fixing defects.
- Testing the functionality of products after repairs have been made.
- Recording repair results in our internal system.
Requirements
- Secondary education in electrical engineering or IT is an advantage.
- Clean criminal record.
- Knowledge of Act 250/2021 Coll. is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Ability to think logically and analytically.
Manual dexterity. - Communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team.
- Good knowledge of computer technology.
- Excellent eyesight.
- Possibility of obtaining a certificate according to Act No. 250/2021 Coll.
- Opportunity to travel to the USA on a business trip for a period of one to three months.
