Description The town of Arkham on the Miskatonic river, as created by horror writer H P Lovecraft, re-imagined for the late colonial era. I will post a better quality scan when I can get to an A2 scanner.

Located in Arkham, Massachusetts. The school is named after the Miskatonic River, which flows through the city. The university is famous for its collection of Cthulhu Mythos arcane literature and occult books. The library at the university holds one of the few genuine copies of the Necronomicon.

Arkham is a fictional town situated in Massachusetts. It is an integral part of the Lovecraft Country setting created by H. P. Lovecraft, and it is featured in many of his stories and those of other Cthulhu Mythos writers. The main source of inspiration was the scale model recreation of Arkham by John Ott (http://www.ottgallery.com/WelcometoArkham.html). Arkham House, a publishing company started by two of Lovecraft's correspondents, August Derleth and Donald Wandrei, takes its name from this city as a tribute.
