Peal and slice apples, I use a variety of apples. In a sauce pan melt butter and add apples and water, depending on how many apples you may need to add more water or not as much. Cover with lid and let apples soften to your taste. Add white and brown sugar, stir till sugar is melted. Mix corn starch in water and add slowly to mixture stirring while you add mixture so there are no lumps. Add cinnamon if desired. Serve while hot or warm. Enjoy!
