I was responsible of doing the Part II version of the Bloater. The final result is an effort from a lot of people, from concept (made by Hyoung Nam) to leads and directors, who has given me a lot of feedback. Assets previously done by Jaehoon Kim for other infected helped a lot. Pose seen in these images was done by animation team. The Last of Us: Clicker zombie

My 1/6 Custom articulated Bloater from "The Last of Us"

This character is one of my favorites from the project. It's in the process of mutating from human to clicker so there are many interesting elements to it. It made me think back to the Cordyceps and how its body glows from the host. When these fungi attack their host, they replace its tissue and sprout long, slender stems that grow outside the host’s body.
