This skirt is called 马面裙/MaMianQun，it is made of two pieces of fabric which make it open on front and back. It is designed for women when riding horses as it is great for ease of movement. It has pleated on both sides and keep the front and back flat. The skirt also has patterns on the bottom or middle. It middle pattern is called 膝襴/XiLan and the bottom pattern is called 底襴/DiLan.
