Dingo aesthetic

A shot taken from our vehicle in Mornington Wilderness Camp in remote N.W. Australia. Research done at this property which belongs to the Australian Wildlife Conservancy has shown that dingoes predate on foxes and feral cats which have been devastating to native wildlife.

Dingos

The Dingo - The sole foreign domesticated mammal adopted in Australia was the dog, which arrrived from Asia (Austronian canoes) around 1500 BCE and established itself in the wild in Australia to becomes the dingo. Natives, as Polynesians did not use dingos for food, instead kept them as companions/watchdogs.
