It is no longer permitted for hikers to travel on the trail leading out to God's Thumb. The trails on USFS land are unofficial, not maintained and pose various hazards to hikers due to the geologically unstable nature of the area. Parking for this trail was recently moved by the town of Lincoln City to NE Devils Lake Blvd. The map on this page starts from this new parking area. The other trailhead is now gated and signed as private property. Please respect private property when hiking…
