Personal piñatas for my daughter's legend of Zelda party. They served as goody bags. The wick is made from yarn. I wrapped a balloon in paper, let it dry, filled it, used a toilet paper roll to cover the hole and wrapped that in paper too. Bam! The zelda bomb!

Legend of Zelda party banners. I made my own templates on card stock for this banner. I traced, cut and glued with tacky glue. Then I poked holes with a pencil to string the twine. Cutting all of that felt is a pain but I have 3 really nice banners for the price of a little felt. Not bad!

I'll admit I was pretty excited when Asher asked for a Legend of Zelda themed birthday this year. My husband and I were avid video-gamers, and The Legend of Zelda has always been a favorite of ours. Now that Asher is older, he's been enjoying the newer versions of the game, though I'm not sure anything can top that first pixelated version that the original Nintendo released in the 80s. When I showed Asher a picture of the original Link, he said, "What is that?" I guess it's a valid question…
