Tropical Holiday Bungalow MOC is a small bungalow in tropical surroundings. Inspired by holiday bungalows in places like Tahiti. This build started as an idea to upscale Micro Tropic House MOC. Along the process I've changed my aim many times and I've gone from minifigscale to microscale and back to minifigscale again. At first I wanted to build a large, modern bungalow, but realized it didn't look good on the base. Thus I ended up with this small holiday bungalow.

My entry for the 2013 MOCathalon, category 'Tropical Paradise'. My tropical paradise is somewhere secluded, somewhere to get away from it all. You can keep your tropical beaches - the sand gets everywhere, and who wants to lie around on a beach all day? Not me, I'd prefer a place to explore, and find the perfect spot... a tropical forest. Relax and get away from it all on your own private island. It might be tiny but what more could we need. There is enough room build sandcastles, practice photography, do a little fishing or swing from the tree. At the end of the day what could be better than drinking some pineapple juice and watching the sunset on the dock before cuddling up in bed and falling asleep to the sound of the waves. The build has a total part count of 237. The roof is removable for easy access.

A child's imagination can be beautiful, like this island. Nature has formed this beautiful island in a child's mind, but now it has come to life. This island has a beautiful water fall and a lot of trees, and it still manages to float in the sky.
