Magic effects art

A whimsical burst of magical particles reveals an ominous and powerful orb that can cause great damage. This original VFX is my personal interpretation of VFX Apprentice's "Wispy Cloud" exercise (www.vfxapprentice.com). All meshes were created in Blender. All dissolve maps and textures were handpainted with the exception of the orb's dissolve, which was used from the class. A big shout-out to the VFX Apprentice community for giving feedback and helping along the way!

These effects were made in Unity.

Incarnations are beings that dwell between the physical realm and the Etherium. Born out of the ether, these creatures are seen as highly sacred entities ; in fact some of them are revered as deities in some parts of Oberant. Rare and elusive by nature, naturalists find them quite difficult to study, hence the lack of documentation about them.
