How to care silk fabric: Washing: hand washing is advice 30 degrees, silk is a nature protein fiber so don't use harsh detergents that contain bleaches or brighteners, use only PH neutral detergent. Soaking silk for any more than afew minutes should be avoided. Drying: don't wring or twist, roll in towel to extract water. Avoid drying silk in direct sunlight.
