Dubbed “the drink of the gods”, mead is a fermented drink traditionally made from honey, water, and yeast. The earliest discovery of mead dates back to around 6500 BC in northern China, and today, Wye Valley Meadery ensures the ancient tipple sticks around a while longer. Helmed by brothers Kit and Matt, the Welsh brand crafts this traditional mead; deep and rich, this honeyed brew offers sweet notes of honeycomb, orange and zesty lemon.
