Flat book binding

Binding Options. Smyth Sewn Binding is a durable binding that wraps completely around the book allowing for a printable spine. Ideal for hardcover books, planners and journals with 20 or more pages. Spiral Binding is a continuous coil made of very durable plastic or metal. Spiral bound books open 360 degrees (cover to cover) which allow them to fold flat and lie flat for easier reference (or to hang on a wall). This binding style works extremely well with index tabs and all page counts.

You know me, pretty determined about finding and using the best practices for all sorts of things... This week I'm writing about a little detail regarding attaching covers to a Coptic bound book - the hidden diagonal stitch (for the lack of a better term). Have you noticed how the sewing thread in
