We have been reading "I know an old lady who swallowed a pie." Today we had our Creative Arts lesson and students created pumpkin pie! They used their fine motor skills to color the brown crust in their pie shells, glue the paper squares for pie filling, sprinkle pumpkin pie spice (for great aroma), sprinkle glitter to show moisture (because the pie was too dry in the story...she almost died!), and to glue whipped cream on top. Yummy! Enjoy...we sure did!
