The only thing we do different is 2 tsp cumin (or char masala, if you have it) instead of 1 tsp, and instead of cloves, we use 1/4 tsp saffron (which is a very pricey spice, so perhaps that's why they say cloves). Anyways, we love it. :) Enjoy an Afghan favorite!
