✨yum✨ want a bite? if you’re wondering why I’m submerging two moths in a random liquid, let me explain!! this process is called degreasing - I’m using acetone as a ‘bath’ for these specimens to prevent them leaking grease in the future. Larger bodied moths such as Saturniidae are prone to becoming greasy; which can potentially ruin any display they’re in. any questions?
