Check Out These Two Bear Cubs Caught Having An Adorable Moment While Mother Bear Went Hunting For Dinner

by Sophia

Wildlife is full of wonders, and it's not always just ferocious animals violently killing each other for food. Aside from the usual predators, hunters, and scavengers that you see in discovery channels and documentaries, wildlife pretty much also has a lot to offer in the "adorable and cute little moments" category.

Nature and wildlife are one of the most magical things to co-exist and it's also a great thing that there are a lot of wildlife photographers out there who dedicate their time to capturing the greatest shots while out in the wild. They are risking their lives out there, just to get these magical and wonderful shots for all the world to see!

For those of us who spend most of our time at home, these photos definitely help us see the other side of wildlife and nature that reek of beauty and wholesomeness. It's a good thing that professional photographers are able to capture these moments so beautifully, which shows how majestic animals truly are in candid.

That being said, an adorable moment between two bear cubs has been captured by Lewis Kemper, a wildlife photographer who was fortunately at the right place and at the right time. The two adorable creatures were caught holding their hands together like humans do, as they wait for their mother to catch some dinner nearby.

Lewis was in the Lake Clark National Park when he spotted the bears holding their hands together while mama bear was trying to get them food to eat.

“I was leading a photography tour around Lake Clark in Alaska, earlier this month, when I spotted a female and her two cubs waiting for her to come back with something to eat,” Lewis said. “I was standing about 20 feet away from the two cubs – bears in the area are used to human presence and do not mind us.”

Unfortunately, mama bear came back empty handed.

“The two bears held hands for around 20 seconds,” Lewis added. “They hoped their mother would bring them some dinner but unfortunately, she came back fishless.”

Wildlife experts say that bears actually have success rate of 10% when it comes to hunting.

Bears are omnivorous animals, and while they love to eat fish, their diet mostly revolves around plants, along with berries, grain, insects, birds, and other mammals. They will hunt moose and deer and will also feed on carcasses.

“Although bears love their fish, most of them are omnivores and mainly eat plants and of course, a lot of grass,” Lewis added. They will also look under the barks of fallen trees for larvae, as well as scavenge around anthills to look for insects to eat.

These two cubs are not the only ones caught holding hands in wildlife, though.

A pair of penguins was actually caught holding flippers a few years ago on a South African Beach. The moment became viral on social media and definitely stole the hearts of millions of people.

Check them out in action below!

While bears are not naturally friendly animals to other creatures, they are still gentle giants who pretty much also have a more reserved personality. They are actually very shy, and will only attack and act aggressively when threatened.

Isn't this just one of the most adorable moments you have ever seen? Comment down your thoughts or share this story for all your family and friends to see!
