Nervo

Australian duo Nervo are known for their high-energy EDM and electro-house sound. The pair emerged to acclaim co-writing David Guetta and Kelly Rowland's Grammy-winning song "When Love Takes Over," before releasing their 2015 debut album, Collateral. They have remained club favorites with tracks like 2016's "People Grinnin," 2017's "Best Friend" with Sofie Tucker, and 2021's "Gotta Be with You" featuring Carla Monroe.Hailing from Melbourne, twin sisters Miriam and Olivia Nervo initially worked as models in their teens, but opted to focus on songwriting and production. Their first credits of note came in 2005 through Rachel Stevens' "Negotiate with Love," a single that peaked at number ten in the U.K. A few years later, they co-wrote David Guetta and Kelly Rowland's "When Love Takes Over," which topped Billboard's U.S. club chart, as well as the main pop charts of several European and Scandinavian countries. It was nominated for a 2009 Grammy in the category of Best Dance Recording. As they continued to add to their resumé as collaborators, the sisters began issuing singles under the name Nervo. 2012's "Like Home," featuring Nicky Romero, peaked at number 33 on the U.K. pop chart, while 2013's "Hold On" topped the U.S. dance chart. "Haute Mess" made it to number five in 2014. Nervo released their full-length debut, Collateral, in 2015. The album contained three additional U.S. Top Five hits dance hits: "Let It Go," "Bulletproof," and "The Other Boys," a collaboration with Kylie Minogue, Jake Shears, and Nile Rodgers that went to number one. Late in 2016, the pair released "People Grinnin," which also went to number one. Early in 2017, they issued the singles "In Your Arms" and "Lost in You," with Quintino. They were also featured on Sofie Tucker's track "Best Friend." More non-album tracks followed, including 2018's "Emotional" featuring Ryann, 2019's "Faded" with Skazi, and 2020's "Goddess" with Krewella and Raja Kumari. Another song, "Gotta Be with You" featuring Carla Monroe arrived in early 2021.
