CCR Headcleaner

San Francisco-based rock group CCR Headcleaner produce a sleazy, riff-heavy, feedback-drenched brand of psych fit for alleyways and troublemaking. The band is comprised of Alex Cargile and Justin Flowers -- former members of Athens, Georgia rockers Long Legged Woman -- as well as a cast of revolving contributors who have included members of bands like the Hospitals, Jealousy, and Waste Rig. Back in Athens, they started the label/collective Pollen Season, which releases music from the various projects with which each member is involved. Lace the Earth with Arms Open Wide: 2013 was their first major release to appear, issued on Pizza Burglar Records. After issuing the noise-laden single "Cokesmoker" in 2015, they unveiled the eight-song effort Tear Down the Wall (In the Red Records) in 2016.
