Emmelie de Forest

Emmelie de Forest was born in 1993 and grew up in Mariager. She started singing at the age of 7 and was already on her first tour at the age of fourteen.
Emmelie De Forest won the Danish Melodi Grand Prix with "Only Teardrops" back in 2013, after which 170 million people watched her win the Eurovision Song Contest. The song went #1 in 12 European countries, and ended up in the top 5 in 17 European countries. Emmelie is a recognized songwriter, who has written over 100 songs for herself and other artists, and she has been signed to both Sony Music, Universal and Cosmos Music Sweden.
Emmelie de Forest now shows a new side of herself, where she combines her love for the soundscape of the 60s and 70s with personal experiences. With her new music she pays tribute to the past and reflects the present.
