Sadye's club-friendly electro-pop weds lush, pulsing, and otherworldly soundscapes with lyrics that take an outsider perspective. Sporting a sweet, high-pitched voice that's often at odds with darker subject matter, she emerged in 2023 with major-label releases like "Biblical" and "Dark Side" that garnered hundreds of the thousands of streams. She kept the singles coming, with songs including "Pretty Traumatized" and "Taste for Blood" further underscoring her catchy, alienated approach. As the lead singer of Canadian alt-rock band Efflo, Sadye toured internationally and once opened a show for Kesha. As a soloist, she collaborated with Canadian producer/songwriter F E R R O on 2019's "Blame It" before signing with Vnclm_/Atlantic as a soloist. She released her first single, "Biblical," in May 2023. It was the beginning of a steady stream of singles with titles like "Freak Like Me" (2023), "Pretty Traumatized" (2024), and "Taste for Blood" (2024) that brought stories of alienation to the dancefloor. "Pretty Traumatized" found her collaborating with producers Mike Green (Paramore, Sum 41) and Nico Stadi (Justin Bieber, Kylie Minogue).
