Blicassty
Blicassty, real name Stéphane Blica, is a singer and songwriter from Martinique renowned for his fusion of bouyon and zouk riddim. He emerged on the dancehall scene in the early 2000s, thanks to an innovative style and lyrics addressing societal issues. Self-taught, Blicassty creates a musical niche that celebrates both culture and emotion. Together with his brother Ti Blica, he formed the Blica Family, a breeding ground for Martinican talent. After Ti Blica's death in 2017, Blicassty honored their shared legacy by continuing their musical work. Titles such as"Look Lemon","Ma Cocotte" and"Karma" met with notable success, boosting his popularity particularly in Martinique.
