James Reid

James Reid first made his name as the Big Winner of Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010, a victory he parlayed into a career as an actor and, eventually, as a pop-R&B singer. Reid was born in Sydney, Australia on May 11, 1993, but he and his father relocated to the Philippines when he was 15 years old. As he approached his 17th birthday, he was cast in Pinoy Big Brother. He wound up winning the competition, which kick-started his career as an entertainer. He teamed up with housemate Bret Jackson for an EP called We Are Whatever in July 2011, and released an eponymous solo debut in 2012. His acting career began in earnest in 2014 with a starring role in Diary Ng Panget, which was quickly followed by Talk Back and You're Dead and Relaks, It's Just Pag-Ibig that same year. In 2015, he appeared in Para Sa Hopeless Romantic and Beauty and the Bestie, along with releasing his second album, Reid Alert. No new music arrived in 2016, but he launched a tour with his girlfriend, Nadine Lustre; the two also acted in the TV series Till I Met You. He released his third album, Palm Dreams, in 2017.
