Misha B

Misha Amber Bryan, known professionally as Misha B, was born on February 10, 1992, in Greater Manchester, United Kingdom. Raised by her maternal aunt Lily from a young age, Misha B began her musical journey writing poetry and rapping before transitioning to singing at the age of fourteen. She attended Trinity C.E. High School and later joined a vocal artist course at the Manchester Music Base. Misha B's breakthrough came in 2011 when she appeared on the eighth series of The X Factor, where she finished in fourth place. Her powerful vocals and Lauryn Hill-like rap-singing style garnered attention, leading to her first single "Home Run" which charted at number 11 on the UK Singles Chart in July 2012. Following this, Misha B released her debut EP Home Run and single "Do You Think of Me". In Autumn 2012, she supported American rapper Nicki Minaj on the United Kingdom leg of her Pink Friday: Reloaded Tour and was nominated as Best Newcomer at the MOBO Awards. Misha B released her second mixtape Knock Knock in 2013, along with her third single "Here's to Everything (Ooh La La)".
